There comes a point in life when you have to stop questioning your purpose and start walking in it.
Believe in yourself. Believe in your talent. Believe in the gift that God placed inside of you long before anyone else saw it.
Life has a way of testing us. Family struggles, disappointments, heartbreak, rejection, closed doors, and moments where we feel forgotten can make us lose sight of who we really are. As musicians, artists, producers, songwriters, and creators, we sometimes become so consumed with surviving that we forget why we started creating in the first place.
I’ve spent years giving everything I had to the people I love. Being there whenever I was needed. Showing up without expecting anything in return. Sometimes that love is appreciated, and sometimes it gets taken for granted. But I’ve learned that being taken advantage of should never change the goodness that’s inside of you it should simply teach you where to invest your time, your energy, and your heart.
Don’t let disappointment convince you that your gift has lost its value.
Music is bigger than us. A song can heal someone you’ve never met. A melody can give hope to someone who’s ready to give up. Your words can become the strength that carries another person through their darkest day.
But none of that can happen if you keep doubting yourself.
Let go of the fear. Let go of the lack of confidence. Let go of the voices that told you that you weren’t enough. Let go of every setback that made you question your purpose.
God didn’t create you to hide your gift. He created you to share it with the world.
Every closed door happened for a reason. Every “no” was preparing you for a greater “yes.” Every setback was building the strength you’ll need for the opportunities that are coming.
This is a new season.
New music.
New experiences.
New opportunities.
New relationships.
New blessings.
New peace.
New purpose.
Walk into this season with confidence, not because life has been easy, but because you’ve survived everything that tried to break you.
Remember who you are.
You are gifted.
You are chosen.
You are resilient.
You are creative.
You are enough.
The world doesn’t need another copy of someone else.
It needs the person God created you to be.
Keep creating.
Keep believing.
Keep trusting.
Your greatest chapter is still being written.
